Each ISO/IEC 27001 certification training course accelerates your efforts of becoming ISO/IEC 27001 certified as an organization. The courses enable your employees to effectively implement the ISO/IEC 27002 controls in the most efficient way in support of meeting the Information Security Management requirements as described in the ISO/IEC 27001 standard.

Also for organizations for which ISO/IEC 27001 certification is not an (immediate) objective the ISO/IEC 27001 certification training courses contribute highly to understanding today’s information security management challenges for all parts of your organization, defining an information security strategy and the necessary policies, designing an information security management system supported by the appropriate controls, effectively implementing those controls, monitoring and reviewing the quality of your information security management systems and continuously improving it.

While the Foundation course is required for every advanced, or Professional, course. The target audience is everyone working in IT and the business organization. Each Professional course is targeted at a specific audience. The Professional Governance, Risk and Compliance course is specifically for IT employees with distinct Information Security Management responsibilities. The Professional Secure IT Services course is for all IT employees. And the Professional Secure Business Environment course is for business-facing IT employees as well as your colleagues on the business side.

The ISMS Consultant/Officer course, the master level of the scheme, is for IT employees with full-time Information Security Management responsibilities and Information Security Management consultants. And the ISMS Auditor course is to become a certified ISO/IEC 27001 auditor.
In order to progress to these highest levels of certification, one needs to possess the “ISO/IEC 27001 Professional Governance, Risk and Compliance” certificate and one other Professional certificate of your choice.
